I decided to pursue a career in care during college when I did some work experience within the care community, since then I’ve known exactly where I want to be, helping others and allowing them to feel cared for and comforted, allowing them to open up and be more forthcoming to the acceptance of care and support provided.
I enjoy being able to help others and their families with care and giving them support where it is needed but also learning their life history and the stories they have because it’s incredible to me what they’ve experienced over today’s society and I love to hear it.
I’ve put myself through additional training courses to better my knowledge around care and provide the best practice to make everyone I care for feel dignified, respected, valued and comfortable. because to me it’s important.
Since joining Betamindes I’ve felt truly welcomed and so welcomed it’s incredible. I can not wait to continue my journey with this company and hopefully have a long path ahead.
